When I was 2 years old I was given a puppy that was just like the dog, 'TOTO' in the movie The Wizard Of Oz. His name was 'Muttie'. Don't ask me why I came up with that name, I just don't know. He would follow me to the ends of the earth. My grandparents picked a great dog. It was a very sad day when he died at the age of 14. Many years passed before I could open my heart to another dog. I wish that everyone would do some research before getting a dog for their families. It would save a lot of disappointment and there would be a lot less dogs in shelters, less dogs abandoned..........
